We anticipate that the state will insist on having modeling data in order to assess the impact before they issue any new permits for these areas. Rob Pinchot has commissioned the current modeling study with Debbie, but the primary concern is on actual rather than on permitted allowable emissions. From this study we are seeing that reductions from current emission levels are likely to be required. Based on the proposed reduction projects there will not be much safety margin available for us to propose production rates that are much if any higher than current levels- We suggest that Teflon commission a concurrent project based on the same model but using permit rates as inputs. Or we could ask Rob to expand the scope of the current study. There might be quite a bit of work required because we'll need to try different combinations of rates from the three major processes. I expect we will be negotiating for permits with rather small increases from current actual production rates which is not ideal to allow for optimal business growth. Debbie has anticipated this need and says she can allocate the necessary time. Another possibility would be to acquire the software and model the many closely related scenarios ourselves.
