Jackson, RyanOackson.ryan@epa.gov] Charles Brittingham Sat 11/11/2017 10:16:15 PM Meeting Request for Andeavor/Cassidy
RJ-
On behalf of my colleagues at Cassidy, I am writing to request a meeting between Administrator Pruitt (and/or appropriate staff), Andeavor (Jamie Moore), and Fulcrum BioEnergy (Ted Kniesche). They would appreciate the chance to visit on November 16 at 1:45 or 2:00 PM. (You know Jamie Moore from our days in the Senate....)
The purpose of the meeting would be to discuss the potential use of biointermediates under the renewable fuel standard. The existing regulations at 40 CFR 80.1401 specifies that all of the activities and equipment associated with the production of renewable fuel starting from the point of delivery of feedstock material to the point of final storage of the end product, which are located on one property, must be under the control of the same person (or persons under common control). These current regulations are stifling the use of biointermediates to produce renewable fuel--and we would like the opportunity to discuss the subject.
Thanks very much for considering the request. If you need additional information, please call me at 202-585-2479 at your convenience.
Meeting Attendees:
Jamie Moore, Andeavor, Federal Government Affairs Ted Kniesche, Fulcrum BioEnergy, Vice President Ryan Mulvenon, Cassidy & Associates, Vice President
Thanks for considering, bud. Hope all is well.
Charles

Good evening colleagues - and Happy Veterans Day! I need to share a request from the ECOS
leadership - that in the interest of cooperative federalism, EPA/I provide the ECOS membership with 30
minutes of advance notice regarding my appointment before it goes public. I look forward to discussing
next week. Thank you!

individuals who I expect would make supportive statements of my appointment to Region 1 RA. I am still
awaiting my letter from Ryan making the offer official so that I can notify ECOS leadership. Let me know
how you might proceed to reach out to people so that if needed I can give them the appropriate heads up
beforehand. I put a New England focus on my selections. I look forward to working with you all.
