Hi Troy - were you able to firm up any availability This Thursday or Friday AM? We would very much like to get in to see EPA leadership while the Lieutenant Governor is in town.
Please excuse my pestering - running around in meetings all day and tomorrow so I wanted to reach out a few days ahead.
Thanks, John

Thank you very much - we are looking for a meeting this Thursday, the 14th. Our preferred times would be in the 9:30 AM to 11 AM window or 3 PM to 4 PM.
We would very much appreciate a 30 minute meeting with yourself, and if the Administrator was able to pop it would be terrific. If there are any policy/counselor staff that may join you as well please let me know so we can prepare.
On our side it would be the Lieutenant Governor, Byron Mallot, our Commissioner of Natural Resources Andy Mack, our Acting Deputy Commissioner and State Geologist Steve Masterman, and myself.
One of our key priorities for the meeting would be to discuss and identify contacts within the Agency to work with on a number of issues very important to Alaska, and to give an overview of some of the historical challenges and areas for potential improvement we have seen. We would also be very interested in hearing about the Administrator's priorities and how we can be helpful providing information and contacts to you all.
Let me know what else I can provide and thanks again,
John

Thanks, John.
I would be happy to visit with the Lt. Governor. We are still working through a few things with the Admin's schedule and I am hopeful he will be able to pop in. What date/time works for you all?

Terrific, thank you Preston.
Troy - I appreciate the help and am available to speak as needed - I know schedules are tight and this timeline is short.

Would you be available to discuss scheduling potential today? I have a conference call I'm supposed to be on at 11, but can step off if needed.

John,
May I check back with you Monday instead? Scrambling around here with Hurricane Irma and want to get a better feel for the Administrator's availability next week.

Hey John, happy to help. Looping in Preston Cory who is leading our efforts for the intergovernmental office, she can help run the traps in potentially getting this set up for next week.

Hello Aaron - thanks for chatting.
As mentioned, the State of Alaska Lieutenant Governor and Commissioner of Natural Resources, Andy Mack, will be in DC next week. They would like to request a very short meeting with the Administrator, if possible, or the appropriate leadership in the Administrator's office, to discuss a number of EPA-related issues in Alaska.

Could you refer me to the appropriate intergovernmental or scheduling staff to discuss this possibility? Happy to provide additional information to assist. We know this is short notice and your office is quite busy, but we have been very encouraged by the Administrator's focus on State consultation and would like to speak shortly about Alaska's interests.
Appreciate it very much,
John Crowther Office of the Governor State of Alaska
