Aa mu t>JLvz i jhL Dear Mr. Larrison: Attached are the tabulated findings of my industrial hygiene survey for asbestos in air at King City, June 19, 20} 1974. Mr. Madlangbayan provided very valuable assistance in this endeavor. The aim of this survey, as in the past, was to provide a fair representation of exposure of personnel to asbestos either by use of serial personnel samples or by serial general area samples where the latter would seem more appropriate. Air samples were collected by the standard technique on Millipore paper. Fiber count was made using a phase contrast microscope at 430X magnification. However, we continue to demonstrate that at the bagger for standard fiber, the level will probably be in excess of the July, 1976 limit of 2.0 fibers/ml more often than not. The concentrations of fiber shown for the John Deere operator were higher than I would have guessed but probably reflects the windy conditions at the time. Very truly yours. FWM:lk Paul W.
