Mr. A. C. Clark Vice President, Technical Director Manufacturing Chemists Association 1825 Connecticut Avenue, N.W. Washington, D.C. 20009
Dear Mr. Clark:
PPG Industries, Inc., will complete their obligation and participate in this third and final year of the vinyl chloride;-research program at the University of Louisville.
Since the objectives of early cancer detection are now beginning to
extend beyond those induced specifically by vinyl chloride monomer,
a broader based financial support appears appropriate should this
year's effort indicate a desire for continued
support. I recom
mend that MCA require the University of Louisville to present a com
prehensive seminar covering this work in its entirety to MCA and the
supporting companies as part of their final report.
Sincerely
FCD/zak Enclosure bcc: H. C. Twiehaus
