George W. Ingle, Chairman, and Jerome H. Heckman, SPI Legal Counsel, it will be obvious to members of the Committee, upon reviewing the various items, that there are a number of very important topics to be discussed. In this connection, kindly note that the meeting will run through luncheon and well into the afternoon. Also attached Is a copy of a communication received by the undersigned from Mr. M. C. Stone of Eastman Chemical Products, Inc., presenting on behalf of the Nominating Committee a slate of officers in connection with an election to be held at the next meeting according to the Bylaws. Might we kindly ask that those shown on the agenda as delivering a formal report either bring or send a written report to the Secretary. This will not only ease the job of preparing the minutes, but will also expedite our discussions. In addition to the agenda and a copy of Mr. Stone's letter, we are also attaching a form to be returned to the undersigned indicating whether you will be present.
