ALL NAAO BUILDING EMPLOYES BULLETIN March 23, 1984 You may have seen some specially-dressed people working in the halls this week: they are not Martians. In fact, they are our maintenance employes working in the "plenum" between the dropped ceiling and the permanent one. Some asbestos was used in the plenum above each floor when the building was constructed. Based on current knowledge about asbestos, and on-going air sampling, there appears to be no health hazard. Ve decided to have the maintenance workers who must go up into the plenums wear filter iubhVh as a precaution due to their proximity to the asbestos. As an added precaution, we will be removing the asbestos in the plenums. 20C-7 1623 "~ SCF-FORD-3471 PRODUCED BY FORD
