Morgan January 6, 1987 STEAM LEAK REPAIR PROGRAM VIST7 The identification and repair of steam leaks in a timely manner is a key element of our Plant Energy Conservation Program. In order to improve our effectiveness in this effort, we will start maintaining a running record of these leaks in the vinyl control room on the attached form. The form will be used to track each step of the steam leak repair program as follows: a) As each leak is identified, the operator will first verify that there has not been a work order already submitted and then he will record the date, operator name, location, and the number of the tag placed at the leak. b) When the leak has been repaired, the mechanic will sign and date the form. The operator who signs off the work order will also verify the leak repair on this form. c) The shift supervisor should review the list every day and use the shift mechanic when possible to repair these leaks. If the leak can't be repaired by the shift mechanic, then the repair will be scheduled as soon as possible. rah attachment cc:
