ASA-934 Attention: Mr. Joe English Gentlemen: Re: 1952 Reverb - Roaster Plate Treater We are pleased to quote the total sum of $2,291.00 to furnish and apply insulation in connection with the above referenced project. Our quotation is based on a complete insulation job as shown on your drawing Number EP 7932 and shall be limited to the west side of the Plate Treater that is exposed to the weather. We will furnish all materials, labor, tools, scaffolding, etc. necessary for a complete job as outlined in our proposal. We propose to remove all existing insulation and replace it with Owens-Corning Fiberglas Corp 's P?6l Rigid Industrial Insulation, 2nthick, impaled over mechanical fasteners. A skim coat of in sulating cement shall be applied over the insulation. The in sulated surfaces shall be weatherproofed with mastic and glass cloth membrane reinforcing. An alternate method to the one outlined above would be to tack weld a 13 gauge expanded metal lath to the protruding columns and beams, forming an envelope, and then wiring the insulation to the lath. All other procedures would be the same as outlined above. The total price for this method would be $it,623.00. Applicable state taxes are included in our quotation.
