ENVIRONMENTAL PERFORMERS FOR 1992 WAYNE, New Jersey, June 10, 1993 -- Nine companies in the vinyl industry have won top honors for their efforts during 1992 to improve worker safety and protect the environment at their plant sites located throughout the United States. The awards are presented annually by the Vinyl Institute, the national trade association representing the leading manufacturers of vinyl (PVC, or polyvinyl chloride), vinyl feedstocks, additives, and film and sheet products.
