Dr. Willard Machle. Dear Dr. Machle, While in. Cleveland this past week I had an opportunity of talking to Dr. Bryson regarding Mr.^BM^cond it ion. Dr. Bryson told me that he has been seeing Mr. ^B^praetically everry week and that his condition is much improved. He has gained some weight and has been sleeping very well without the use of any sedative. I also checked with Mr. A^baugh of the Gulf Refining Corporationi and he said that Mr. HHB^had been working very steady and seemed to be will ing to go right ahead with any type of work to which they might assign him. Dr. Bryson said that he would send you a full report on Mr^m^within the next couple of weeks. He also asked that he be kindly remembered to you and that any time you are in cieveland he would appreciate your giving him a call or if the opportunity present ed itself he would like to see you personally. At the Gulf plant another storage tank was cleaned and it might be interesting to you to know that did this work. The tank in question to the best of information I could gather had never contained leaded gasoline being used exclusively since 1935 for the storage of third grade gasoline. Mr. Grants from the Toledo Office sent over to Cleveland a Mr. Callahan who, I was given to understand, now has complete charge of tank cleaning operations for Gulf in this territory. Mr. Callahan is quite familiar with our requirements and even though th,e tank which was cleaned! had no history of ever containing leaded gasoline he had wear the proper clothing and use the airline mask at all times. This was a relatively small tank with very little deposit so that the actual work of clean ing took approximately two hour's.
