Dear Administrator Pruitt,
Attached is a formal request from Robert Walther, Vice President at POET LLC, to request a meeting on behalf of POET CEO and founder Jeff Broin for March 29, 2017 or the afternoon of March 30, 2017, at your convenience.
Jeff Broin is the Chairman and CEO of POET, the largest producer of biofuels worldwide. Mr. Broin has been heavily involved in biofuels advocacy and promotion on both the federal and state levels for more than 25 years. The purpose of this meeting request is to discuss Midwestern rural economic development issues including the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) and proposals that have been submitted to the EPA and the Administration to modify that program.
Please let me know if you need additional information or have questions.
Thank you for your consideration of this request.
