Dear We received well your position paper regarding the ongoing update of the lists of priority substances and groundwater pollutants, and we thank you for that. Our experts participated to your event on September 28th and took note of the concerns and possible solutions formulated. Please be assured that your advice will be taken into consideration wherever possible. Unfortunately, our busy schedules don't allow us to take appointments at this time. Kind regards,

Onderwerp: Meeting invite on priority substances and groundwater pollutants
Dear I am reac Ing ou In re a Ion o e ongoing update of the lists of priority substances and groundwater pollutants and to ask if you would be available for a meeting with a small coalition of environmental NGOs on this topic.
We think it is very important that a Council agreement can be reached on this file during the Belgian presidency so that new lists of water pollutants are adopted before the planning of measures for the next RBMPs starts in 2025. As you are aware, the EEB sent a letter to ministers Zakia Khattabi and Alain Maron on that point last week. But we also think that there are several points where the European Parliament position strengthen the Commission's proposal. I attach our joint position paper where we outline this in more detail. We would very much like to discuss this with you and wonder if you would be available for a meeting, in person or online, in the coming few weeks? With kind regards,
