Hey Patrick, also left you a voicemail today. Laura Skaer is the Executive Director of American Exploration and Mining Association (formerly known as Northwest Mining Association). Laura virtually single-handedly prevented implementation of an unnecessary and duplicative financial assurance rule that would have severely undercut the mining industry in the U.S., curtailing many high paying jobs in the extraction of minerals critical to the nation's economy, national defense and infrastructure. The rule is commonly referred to as 108(b), referencing the source of purported authority under CERCLA.
