We anticipate beginning this work on about January 9, 1984. The. area in which we will be removing such material will be roped of-f from the rest of the plant. Anyone entering the area will be protected by wearing approved disposable coveralls and utilizing proper respiratory protection as approved by "NIOSH". The asbestos contaminated materials will be wet down prior to removal and, while still wet, will be placed in properly labeled . 6 mil plastic bags provided by the DuPont Company. These bags . will then go to a decontamination station where they will be Jr washed down. After washing, these bags will then be placed in . ; another 6 mil bag. This material will then be placed in closed metal containers and transported to the approved landfill on the .plant site. Final disposition of the asbestos material will be carried out by E.I.
