As per our discussion, OSHA plans to accelerate its rulemaking on a proposal to lower the current OSHA exposure limit for asbestos from 2 to 1/2 fiber per cubic centimeter. The Corporate input is that this will be passed this Fall. In addition, a corporate Hazard Review Committee will be convened to determine if Celanese iX should consider an even lower internal standard. Therefore, can you please let me know (by October 21st) if Engineering Resins Bishop can presently meet a 0.5, 0.25 and/or 0.1 fiber/cc exposure limit. If we cannot presently meet any of these three levels, can you estimate what it would take (timing, costs, etc.) to achieve these levels.
