PLAINTIFF'S EXHIBIT AL-1114 from A. b. mc kee ALCOA TECHNICAL CENTER - C TO MEMBERS, CORPORATE HAZARDOUS MATERIALS CONTROL COMMITTEE 1981 January 16 JRN 2 0 1981 RE: ALCOA HAZARDOUS MATERIALS SAFETY DATA SHEET MANUAL On Thursday, 1981 January 15, Messrs H. P. Brueschke, R. E. Edgington, D. A. Whitfield and the writer met to review the index for the data sheets in the captioned manual. Our. objective was to remove from the list certain items which were obsolete, discontinued, vaguely identified, too general a category or a material not generally considered to be hazardous material (example--Kraft paper). Attached is a copy of the 1980 November index with lines drawn through the items we are suggesting be deleted (approximately 300 items). Please review this list, and be prepared to approve the suggested deletions at our March 5 meeting or to show justification why certain deletions would not be advisable. -- A. <B.
