Premier Wall is currently the longest tenured Premier in Canada, has the highest approval rating of any Premier in Canada and is the leading conservative elected official in Canada. The meeting would primarily be about energy and regulatory files between the US and Canada. Saskatchewan is home to the Boundary Dam III project which is a retrofit of a 115 MW coal fired power plant with carbon capture and sequestration, and in 2014 became the world's first commercial post combustion CCS plant. Saskatchewan is also the world's second largest producer of uranium, accounting for 22% of global production. Saskatchewan is also the 3rdlargest coal producer in Canada, the second largest oil producer in Canada and third largest natural gas producer.
I very much hope that you will be able to meet with David and Premier Wall on April 4 and 5.
Please feel free to reach out to David directly. He can be reached at (864) 250
2231 or david.wilkin.s@nelson.mulliiis.com.
Thank you.
