Laboratory of Applied Physiology University of Cincinnati College of Medicine Cincinnati, Ohio Dear Doctor Kehoe As a result of a conversation with Dr. Selby in Detroit yesterday, we have decided that we would like to have 3rou send your one best man here for a period of one to two weeks. During this period we would like him to make examinations of men selected along the general lines outlined in your letter of April 22 with particular emphasis on getting the men who have had the longest period of exposure. After the result of these examinations is available for review, we will decide on the next step in our program. If these examinations show entirely satisfactory conditions we believe that we will want to enter into a somewhat less elaborate program than that which we have previously considered. You will appreciate that our reason for talcing this attitude is that we feel that it is highly undesirable that we do anything In the shop at this time which will cause an un necessary amount of concern or discussion. We would like to know just as quickly as possible when you can have your man here as we will want to make preliminary arrangements as far in advance as may be. IDJj MAB I.
