My dear Doctor Deuellj I an sending you herewith the analy tical results which v/e obtained on the specimens which you sent* These are tabulated in such a way as to make comparison with former results* There is nothing in these results which indicates any considerable amount of danger to the person concerned* There is definite evidence of lead absorption, and what concerns me somewhat is the fact that in most cases there is evidence of a gradual increase in lead excretion, which means a correspond ing increase in absorption* For this reason I think we should take warning, and keep a very sharp eye out. I shall expect to see you some time with_ in the next few weeks and look over the situation, es pecially in the smelting area* I believe that even now these facts should be brought to the attention f the management in order that they may make all haste in bringing about the completion of changes which have been contemplated for some time* I should appreciate very much receiving the histories and physical examination.in the cases of the last six men on whom I have no records.
