The Director of OMB and the Assistant to the President for Economic Policy have determined in the interim that disbursements from DOT shall continue, in accordance with established procedures, pending further guidance to achieve the section 2 policies. These policies include eliminating the electric vehicle mandate and promoting true consumer choice and eliminating ill-conceived government-imposed market distortions.
