Asbestos free hot-tens

Af;ou.ViPtioi: Ii-i the development work of an asbestos free hot-tot cne of i the ways tried is to replace asbestos vith mineral wool. This report shoves the result of trials performed in the iitoelv.-orhc at Sardvihi' All the recipes contain mineral wool and wheat flour.
Surniary
All hot-tops vith mineral wool and wheat flour in place :f blue
asbestos and part of the standard resin gave more pipe than t he
ctare: ard E-box. The result corresponds with the Anri tec tests.
The largest difference r. pipe between standard- E-box and miner;.:
wool E-box war. 0.2 at ft pipe 'level of .about 7-3
'.Then usir.,;-
mineral wool and wheat flour, the degree of erosion is greater
than r, craftily.
The present trials eor.firr- the result- of our earlier trials viti mineral 'wool hot-tops performed during the dust three years, s. ' the- results so far are also in agreement with the experiences re ported in a Prof ax ??evs`J.cttor of December 1967.
The only really positive substitute for asbestos that v.-c- have ion., up to r.ov.- is fibre -lass, which v;as shown already in 1965. T'-i material has a prohibitive price, however.
Further trials with mineral wool E-box '.vith "standard resin are
