Please find attached a letter from Senator Blumenthal to Secretary Duffy urging that NHTSA expeditiously complete the rulemaking required in the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act regarding child safety. According to the last Unified Agenda, this rule was to be completed this spring. As of right now, we do not have specific plans to release this letter. However, the Senator has already spoken about this issue quite a bit this summer, and I expect he will continue to. Please confirm receipt, and please let us know if you have any questions.
