This is just a quick note to express my (and WSWC's) sincere appreciation for your reaching out on WOTUS, among other things. Now that the states have been invited to engage, it's our obligation to show up, speak up, and assist. This work has been in part the result of the accomplishments of WestFAST - the Federal Agency Support Team that assists WSWC in our interactions with federal water-related agencies (and, hopefully, their interactions with each other). WestFAST is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, and we're proud of the relationships that have been built through it - we very much hope it continues. We had a great WestFAST principals' meeting last Friday morning at the Commerce building, and its support in DC appears to remain strong. Roger Gorke has been the EPA contact to this group, and he can fill you in on the progress we've made. Roger has been helpful in working with the Council on our EPA-related water concerns. Let us know how we can assist you in your important work.
