We would like to devote a significant part of the conversation to regulatory issues related to the revision of the REACH and CLP regulations and their impact on the chemical industry, also in the context of the upcoming Polish presidency of the Council of the European Union. The topic of PFAS substance restriction and the links between the Ecodesign Regulation and the CSS Strategy will also be discussed. The theme of the debate to which we would like to invite a representative of ECHA is `Transformation towards safe and sustainable chemicals - the state of play "today"', and the aim is to summarise the most important developments and the current status of work on the CSS strategy. The discussion with ECHA's participation will take place among other representatives of the EU administration, such as DG GROW and DG ENV. Moderators of the debate will be representatives of the Polish Chamber of Chemical Industry. Detailed questions will be agreed with the panelists closer to the date of the event. We have extended an invitation to Mr. Peter van der Zandt, Director of Risk Management, as he has already participated in the panel discussion on PFAS substances during the Congress Poland Chemistry organized by the Polish Chamber of Chemical Industry. The debate at the roundtable will be a continuation of the threads taken up at the Congress expanded to include other key threads of the CSS strategy.
