Section I - INTRODUCTION
PURPOSE OF THE INSPECTION EPA Region 6 inspector Rick Davis visited the Benson-Montin & Greer oil production facility located in the NW/4 Section 19-T27N-R1E near Cuba, New Mexico on April 6, 2015. Ben Gonzales represented Benson-Montin & Greer during the inspection. The inspection was conducted by authority of the Safe Drinking Water Act to determine compliance with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations. FACILITY DESCRIPTION Well location
Section II - OBSERVATIONS
Active lease with well not injecting. Tubing at -5psi and annulus at 40psi positive pressure. Bled off and pressured annulus to 550psi with water. Increased to 565psi in 30 minutes.
