Despite improvement in soles to the paper industry and in Resin-Grada
August domestic business vas at July level. Sales vara sharply down to
flooring accounts -- only $ d against a monthly average of $2GM. Return to
normal is expected in September.

1 The paper industry accounted for 50% of total do^mstic sales -- the
-- bast month irr some time. Initial carload sales of T-135 to Uestvaco is
largely responsible. This business should be firm on an every other month
. basis.

Resin-Grade sales were improved by new business at Kajor Paint for a developmental rutile T102 asbestos product end sizeable reorders, for R-G 244 -from American Petrochemical, Dunnage Engineering and Ohio Sealer.
