MEW YORK, MARCH 31, 1965 - Walter Morris, who retired from National Lead Company in 1963 after 39 years of company service, died at his home at Merion, Pennsylvania, on March 25th. He was 66 years of age. At the time of hip retirement, Mr. Morris was manager of the pigments and chemicals division of the Philadelphia Branch.
Mr. Morris was first employed by National Lead in 1924 in the engineering department at Philadelphia. He was transferred to the sales staff in 1928, was named manager of raw material sales in 1950 and manager of the pigments and chemicals division in 1959-
Mr. Morris was graduated from the University of Pennsylvania. He was treasurer of the Philadelphia Paint, Varnish and Lacquer Association and a member of Union League, Kiwanis Club and Masonic Order. He is survived by his wife, the former Emma Mass, a daughter Mrs. Brooke Hindle and two grandchildren.
