Hi Hannah and Trish, On behalf of Senator Heinrich, I wanted to flag the attached letter from the Governor of the Pueblo of Acoma in New Mexico to Secretary Duffy in regard to the Secretary's April 24 "Follow the Law Letter." I am also attaching the USDA Memorandum that USDA Secretary Brook Rollins issued on May 5 that the Pueblo of Acoma's letter references. It clarifies a really important distinction relative to Tribal Governments and DEI issues.
