Ve experienced a considerable number of similar situations in parathion prior to modification of the shipping containers. A year and a half ago ve added two reinforcing embosses on the drum bottom. Since that time ve have not seen a single split chime due to fatigue, tie (including H. L. Gray) feel this has been 100% effective. .. ; We strongly recommend that the same type of reinforcement be adopted for Aroclor drums.
