Sanborn visited The Long Trusts oil and gas facility located near Overton, Texas on 03/05/2020 for an unannounced inspection. There were no representatives of The Long Trusts present for the inspection. The inspection was conducted by authority of the Clean Water Act and the Safe Drinking Water Act to determine compliance with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations. FACILITY DESCRIPTION This facility is known as the Mary Smith and has state identification number: RRC No. 08568. Section II - OBSERVATIONS I observed that the produced water (brine) pump and gas separator were located outside the secondary containment area. A drainpipe and plug were observed in the secondary containment and the drain valve was open during the inspection. I did not observe any surface damage outside of the secondary containment call. Section III - AREAS OF CONCERN The secondary containment area had a drainpipe with a valve that was open during the inspection.
