Our response;
We attend the Chemical Industry Liaison Group meeting which is attended by the CIA, BCF and CBA alongside other regulators. At the last meeting held in March 2023 the disposal of firefighting foam was raised by SEPA, see attached minutes `Minutes of the CILG Meeting 14 March 23'.
We also had some direct contact with the CIA on this topic area.
o There's some information related to FGas in the presentation attached `220623 NRW CIA meeting'.
o We followed up with some general FGas information email attached ` FGas information' attachment `180328f-gas operator annex_qus (002)'.
o Notes for the Spring CIA cell meeting attached and there is some reference to firefighting foams `NRW update notes for your South Wales responsible care cell meeting in Newport'.
