Chauvin SUBJECT: Safety Inspection Training Session Attendance I am sure that each of us is well aware of the fact that attendance at the monthly safety inspection training meetings is compulsory. The reason for each absence must be explained. Some absences are for valid reasons such as sickness or vacation. On the other hand, we have in our group too many absences for reasons such as "overlooked" and "busy". These are not acceptable excuses. It is suggested that you mark these meetings on your calendar well ahead of time and that you arrange your work so that you will attend one of these meetings unless you are unavoidably absent from the plant. If you happen to miss your scheduled meeting (or can foresee that you will) please make every effort to attend the other one, even though your reason for missing the scheduled meeting may itself be valid.
