ing from uraemia are known to have been exposed to lead previously.

established with any certainty, but atmospheric deposition, flaking paint containing lead and lead-stabilised PVC are mentioned as pro-
bable sources. Exposure to lead may also occur, fo r example, as a resuit o f polishing, scraping and painting with paints containing lead.
