New module downtime was mainly associated with extended sub-freezing weather conditions which resulted in numerous freeze problems and two reactor agitator seal failures. A major milestone in the plant expansion project was achieved when the new 745 reactor was charged early 12/18/81. The reactor is producing prime quality resin and 9 batches have been charged to date. Current plans ere to start up the old module expansion reactor D-700 in January.
