July 1, 1963 Carey p. McCord, M.D., Editor School of Public Health University of Michigan .Inn Arbor Michigan Dear Carey: Frank Pririci referred your letter of June 26th, concerning "Research and Training Centers in Occupational Health" to me, for obvious reasons. I shall prepare an article as you request, with assistance, no doubt from other members of the staff, but I shall be responsible for its substance, as indeed I must. Inasmuch as my time, for the next several months, is now over committed, I shall appreciate having some word from you as to the responses which you have received from others. It is quite out of the question for me to expect to do this so as to be "one of the early ones," if you mean what I think you mean,. Your idea of a 'small task," and of assigning it to "some other person" has, I know, been expressed with tongue in cheek, but I had better have some sort of dead line from you, even a tentative one, if I am to fit this work, even approximately, into your general plan. Sincerely yours, RAK:ss Robert A. Kehoe, M. D. Dictated but not read. t & l 01 389
