There are wire sternal sutures. The lungs are free of confluent infiltrates and there is no evidence of pleural fluid or pneumothorax. There are believed to be small, in profile pleural plaques along the lateral chest walls as well as an en face pleural plaque component on the left. This plaque may contain a few flecks of calcium. Not much interval change is apparent since the previous film dated 4-3-87. Conclusion: 1. Status post sternotomy. 2. Bilateral pleural plaques. 3.
