TO: Jim Biggart --N , i G. VC- i^r. Y' Interoffice Communication FROM: DATE: - SUBJ: T. G. Grumbles September 24, 1986 SUPPLEMENTAL REGISTRATION AS A DISTRIBUTOR VKIA In order for Vista to market the ALFOL 10 and ALFOL 810 products blended with the surfactant product at DeSoto, we must either initiate a pesticide registration for the blended product with EPA or register as a supplemental distributor. The second choice is, as discussed, the preferred one. To obtain the supplemental registra tion, the following steps are required. 1. Obtain a company number as a distributor; this appears to be a simple process involving no agency forms. 2. Submit to the agency a statement signed by both the registrant (DeSoto) and the distributor (copy attached). Ray Maddox at DeSoto has indicated a willingness to do this. 3. Produce labels with the appropriate amendments; Changes would include our product names (if desired), our company name and address, and our distributor registration number obtained from Step 1. A copy of the DeSoto label is attached. Certain conditions of production, labeling and packaging must also be met. These are outlined on the attached form under the heading of CONDITIONS, Please let me know if you wish to proceed with the distributor registration. \\ gry ... --1 Thomas G.
