Jorgensen - lwb When I returned from Paoli in July, I found out we had shipped an 80 bag order of Acoustical plaster to Oregon on July 2Uth. The plaster was to be used on a dental clinic at Klamath Falls. I called Ernie Reynolds, the salesman, to find out when the job was to be done and found out that it was to be applied that day. Since I couldn't get there to see the job, I asked that he follow the job and give me a report on it. The following is the information he gave; "Here is a short report on the first acoustical plaster that has been used in my territory. 80 sax was used on a doctor's clinic in Klamath Falls. Twin Cities Plaster Co. of Eugene was the contractor. He said, 1. Material worked good. 2. Could not tell the difference from Audicote. 3. Postively did not get the coverage the B.W. literture said he would. He could only get about 6 yds. whereas our literature says 9 yds. on a 1/2" basis. U. Did say B.W. plaster was a little harder when he compared the two in the dry state. I have another 100 sax job that is going to be put on here in Eugene next week. Will also have another 100 sax job in Eugene in about a month. Dick Helickson of Twin Cities Plaster Co. said, He was a little disappointed in our acoustical. He had hopedwe would have something better than Audicote. U.S.G. has been having trouble with fall out after the job is finished. The fall out is the fines out of the finished ceiling and drops because of vibration in the ceiling. If B.W. Acoustical doesn't have the fall out we will be 3ble to move a quite a bit a material.
