Dear Gene:
On February 26, 1986, a bulk sample of tray packing from V-3202 was collected and analyzed for asbestos content. This packing material was Chrysotile asbestos (95-100%).
To determine if fibers were being released from the packing material, air samples were taken on February 27, 1986. These samples were obtained from inside the 70.8 foot and the 126.8 foot levels of Vessel 3202 . Both samples were less than the detection limit of the phase contrast microscope.
Should you have'any questions please feel free to call.
