Eschenbach SUBJECT: Libby Tox Study 5 January 1984 Gfeit>u623 I spoke to Corbett McDonald on 4 January and he indicated the following: a. He has decided that he only wants x-rays taken for this program for present employees and does not want the first x-ray and 1982 pictures. However, he would like us to have them fairly handy in case he needs them in one or two , cases. Based upon this, we have separated the x-rays and are shipping only the 1983 specials and will retain the others here for a short period of time. Corbett will scan the specials and advise about other needs if he has them. b. If possible, he would like the special pictures of ex employees to be shipped with the last picture taken when they were in our employ. Carolyn Horka at Libby is arranging this with the Libby hospital. She is also reminding Dr. Gill of the need to ship 50 or so other x-rays of non-employees for use as controls. c. Corbett, Allison, Patrick and Ben Armstrong, the statisti cian, are going to Morgantown for a review with Amandus and Wheeler on 13 January. They want to do it in Morgan town to assure that Glenn is present. Corbett feels that this is essential due to the apparent animosity between Harlan and Bob Wheeler. 2. On 5 January, Allison called to request copies of the three addi tional death certificates which we mentioned during our visit on 19 December. I advised her that she would shortly be receiving a package of 18 death certificates from Lovick which contained these three. She was pleased because she wanted them before going to Morgantown. I will make copies of those for RCW's file. Lovick indicates that he has only about 35 people unaccounted for. HAE/cs I E016
