Sanborn visited the Edge Oil Company, Inc. oil and gas facility located near Cleveland, Oklahoma on 01/27/2020 for an unannounced inspection. There were no representatives of Edge Oil Company, Inc. present for the inspection. The inspection was conducted by authority of the Clean Water Act and the Safe Drinking Water Act to determine compliance with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations. FACILITY DESCRIPTION This facility is located on the Eric Lease and is southeast of Hallet, Oklahoma. Section II - OBSERVATIONS During the inspection, I observed that the tank battery was overgrown with vegetation. The secondary containment was inadequate due to the berms not being maintained properly. Section III - AREAS OF CONCERN The facility was overgrown with vegetation and the secondary containment berms were inadequate. Section IV - FOLLOW UP EPA water enforcement will conduct a follow up inspection in approximately 3 months and will refer this facility to the EPA R6 SPCC program.
