Section I - INTRODUCTION PURPOSE OF THE INSPECTION
Warren American Oil Company, LLC / Chapman Lease Inspection Date: 11/15/2017
EPA Region 6 inspector K.W. Sanborn visited the Warren American Oil Company, LLC oil and gas facility located at the latitude 36.846708 N and longitude -96.5006 W near Pawhuska, Oklahoma on 11/15/2017 for an unannounced inspection. There were no representatives present for Warren American Oil Company, LLC conducted by authority of the Clean Water Act to determine compliance with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations. FACILITY DESCRIPTION
The facility was known as the Chapman tank battery and has EPA identification number: OKU000862.
Section II - OBSERVATIONS
I conducted this inspection with a calibrated YSI 30 Pro Conductivity Meter. I measured Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) in the tributary where the discharge had occurred previously. I observed that the highest reading of TDS was 12,000 mg/L in a dug hole in the tributary next to flow lines. I took additional measurements in the tributary, downstream from the point of entry from the previous spill and TDS readings were approximately 1,500 mg/L.

Ongoing remedial operations continue to address the identify elevated levels of TDS in the tributary.
