R. Torkelson, has requested that Panel members of those companies currently sponsoring the 1978-1979 research at the University of Louisville be balloted concerning additional distribution of the transcripts of research reviews presented at the University of Louisville meeting on June 14, . 1978 (see MCA letter dated July 31, 1978 addressed to the Vinyl Chloride Technical Panel, Research Coordinators, and Medical Subcommittee). The Chairman has recommended that those companies who sponsored the original inhalation research program at Industrial BIO-TEST Laboratories, Inc., but who are not currently sponsor ing the University of Louisville research program, be given an opportunity to review the value of the University of Louisville research. Such a review, as presented in the above-mentioned transcripts, could lead to broader sponsorship of the University of Louisville program which will embody during 1979-1980 an even more incisive approach to multiple studies on chemical carcino genesis . Please indicate on the enclosed ballot your wishes concerning distribution of the University of Louisville research reviews to Panel members of non-sponsoring companies.
