MURPHY V PLASTIC CEMENT - NEW FORMULA After several weeks of field and lab testing by John McKellar and Jim Post's group, we feel that the existing plastic cement product has been duplicated by a new formula which eliminates all asbestos fibers. As of this date, we recommend that you phaseout the old hand plastic and start replacing it with the new formula. Ralph, we would like to have a couple of months leeway before eliminating the gun plastic. With the assistance of John McKellar and Jack McCoe, we would like to select three or four large gun plastic applicators and then come up with a suggested formula utilizing the new hand plastic.
