I did not understand your problem, but then I realized that you did not understand our setup. The first is that we are running samples to determine where we stand and what our improvements must be. We are continually mak ing changes as we find the areas of exposure. In all areas of exposure we are wearing respiratory protection, as is indicated on the sheets. When you read the sheets, it is noted that the operator collected samples and then analyzed in the lab. The note says no mask is worn in the lab, but the total exposure is high. We know, have verified and it can be seen by looking at sample No. 9 that the lab is okay. All of our work has been done in the hood. The hood has been modified and we feel the lab is no problem as of now. In the future the same test will not cover collection and analysis. Collection of samples has been a problem, and various improvements have been, are being and will be done. As may be seen by the samples on November 18, considerable improvements have been made, but time and more samples are needed. Even then we still come up with unexplained exposures. RPL/cg cc: 0. L.
