j... we talked taxes, bringing you news in our morning roundup that four oil and gas majors, as well as several corporate giants and policy leaders, have joined a push led by former GOP officials for Congress to address climate change through a carbon tax and dividend plan.
jOn the personnel front, EPA is moving forward with plans for encouraging voluntary departures of its employees and appears to have identified a "maximum number" of 1,228 employees that will be able to take advantage of agency "separation" offers in fiscal year 2017.
And in science news, EPA is halting all planned actions by its Board of Scientific Counselors, which reviews the agency's research agenda, for the remainder of 2017 while it works to appoint new members, according to press reports.
