Dear Bob
Enclosed please find four 4 samples of talc labeled STD C D E and F which I am sending as a result of our discussion concerning a possible concentration technique for chrysotile in tale Each sample is approximately 5 gram and
contains less than 0.5 by weighotf chrysotile with the
exception of STD E which contains less than 0.5 of the platy serpentine mineral antigorite I thought it would be interesting to determine whether the morphology of the serpentine mineral had any effect on the efficiency of the separation In addition STD C and D each contain less than
0.1 tremolite
It was a pleasure talking with you on December 13 We plan to try your actinolite concentration technique soon
Our best wishes for a Happy Holiday Season
Sincerely
