Gillich Republic Powdered Metals 2628 Pearl Road Medina, OH 44256 Dear Mr. Gillich: This is in response to your request to Mr. Ray Brinson for information regarding the California Marks Bill. We are currently engaged in active dis cussions with Senator Marks regarding possible amendments to the bill. These discussions are being spearheaded by the California Manufacturers' Association. A copy of the four amendments which have been suggested are attached. A copy of the supporting data which was submitted is also attached. We tried to draw the proposed amendments as broadly as the data would allow. Hopefully, the Republic products would fall within the scope of one of the amendments. If they do not, time is extremely short but it is not impossible to get the data and get them included. Please let us know if you have any further questions. Very truly yours HBR:cjb Attachments CC: G. L. Dickson R. J. Brinson H. B. Rhodes Technology Manager UCC 010032 PROPOSED AMENDMENTS CALIFORNIA MARKS BILL 1.
