On September 6th from 09h30-13h the BCR will be organizing an Open Ad-Hoc BCR meeting on the PFAS restriction. During this meeting stakeholders will have the opportunity to present their case on this restriction proposal to the Belgian competent authorities on REACH. If you are interested to attend this meeting you can send this to reach@health.fgov.be. The meeting will be held live in Brussels, so please also indicate who will be attending in person (preferably maximum 2 persons). I wanted to ask if you would have me for a short meeng with DIGITALEUROPE to talk further about the REACH revision and PFAS restricon. Our members support the ambion to phase out the use of PFAS in electronic products wherever possible in a mely manner and are currently in the process of gathering technical informaon and invesgang alternaves together with their supply chain partners. We are aware that the dossier is currently being examined by the ECHA Commiees but consider that it would be valuable to have an exchange with you at this stage of the process. The Chair of our Chemicals working group and PFAS-lead from Canon will be in Brussels on 14 July, and it would be a great to take this opportunity to have a short meeng with you. We will have a meeng with and his colleagues from DG GROW 11.00-12.00 but are otherwise flexible. If that day does not work for you, I would be happy to organize a meeng at a more suitable date.
